About the store & tannery
We warmly welcome curious visitors, customers and tourists to our “GG Visitor Center – The History of the Seal and Greenland”. In Qaqortoq, you will find one of our sewing workshops and our large tannery, where you can gain insight into the craftsmanship and production behind our products.
If you would like a company visit, a school visit or a guided tour, you are very welcome to contact us.
Opening hours
Monday – Friday 10 am – 4 pm
During cruise ship calls or other notified visits, we offer extended opening hours.

We look forward to welcoming you to our showroom/store in Glostrup. Here you can experience all the products you find in our webshop and gain a closer insight into materials, quality and design.
It is also in Glostrup that we hold our big warehouse sale every year in October. Sign up for our newsletter to stay updated on warehouse sales, events, campaigns and other news.

In modern Greenlandic society, the seal is still an important part of life and culture. Great Greenland has established a visitor centre to provide information about the seal and its uses. Visitors will understand the seal’s importance to the Greenlandic population through exhibitions and visits to a live workshop.
